Guangdong Huajinda New Materials Co.,Ltd. Signs Letter of Intent for Cooperation with BASF Integrated Site (Guangdong) Co., Ltd.!

On March 25, 2026, the BASF (Zhanjiang) Verbund Site Smart and Green Development Forum was held in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. During the event, Guangdong Huajinda New Materials Co., Ltd. and BASF Integrated Site (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. officially signed a letter of intent for cooperation, opening a new chapter in strategic cooperation.

Building on this signing, the two parties will fully leverage the technological leadership and industrial advantages of BASF’s Zhanjiang Verbund site “lighthouse project”, and combine them with Huajinda’s core capabilities in the development and application of specialty olefins, as well as the R&D and production of specialty alcohol products.

The two parties will deepen resource synergy and industrial chain coordination, and jointly promote the in-depth integration of green chemicals, smart manufacturing, and the circular economy.

Both parties will work together to build a benchmark cooperation model in the field of high-end fine chemicals.

In the afternoon of the same day, Huajinda Chairman Chen Binglin, General Manager Zuo Hongliang, and other company leaders held a dedicated meeting with BASF’s senior team.

The BASF team included Parthiv Amin, Senior Vice President, Global Business Unit Industrial Formulators at BASF, as well as Liu Shuai, Zhao Jun, and other relevant leaders from the Asia-Pacific team.

The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on matters including the implementation pathway for the cooperation and market expansion, and clarified the direction for follow-up advancement.

Huajinda stated that the company has long been focused on the high-value-added utilization of specialty olefins and the innovative R&D and industrialization of specialty alcohol products.

The cooperation reached with BASF Integrated Site (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. will enable Huajinda to draw on BASF’s local operating experience, global supply chain system, and advanced management concepts, further optimize its product structure, and enhance its technological capabilities and core competitiveness.

The two parties will adhere to the concept of green development and jointly explore new industrial pathways featuring low carbon, high efficiency, and circular utilization.

The successful signing of this letter of intent for cooperation marks a key step for Huajinda and BASF in jointly building a green, smart, efficient, and coordinated modern chemical industrial chain.

Both parties stated that they will accelerate the implementation of cooperation details, promote early results from the cooperation, and make greater contributions to regional economic development and the upgrading of the chemical industry through higher-quality industrial synergy.
