Huajinda’s Dodecylphenol Achieves New Breakthrough in Global ExpansionOn April 24, 2025, Guangdong Huajinda New Materials Co., Ltd. announced that its flagship product, dodecylphenol (CAS NO.: 121158-58-5), has obtained certification under South Korea’s K-REACH (Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals). This milestone marks a significant advancement in Huajinda’s global chemical compliance efforts and solidifies the foundation for expanding the product’s international market presence.

International High-Standard Certification Demonstrates Competence

K-REACH, enacted by South Korea’s National Assembly in 2014 and implemented in 2015, stands alongside the EU’s REACH regulation as one of the world’s “dual benchmarks” for chemical safety. The act mandates that all chemicals produced or imported into South Korea in annual volumes exceeding 1 ton must submit safety assessment reports, including 17 critical datasets such as toxicity testing and exposure evaluation. Widely regarded as a “technical passport” for market entry, K-REACH compliance reflects rigorous standards for data integrity and scientific methodology. Huajinda’s two-year effort to compile comprehensive registration documents, validated by third-party international laboratories, underscores the company’s expertise in chemical safety management.

Established Product Unlocks New Market Opportunities

Dodecylphenol, a key product for Huajinda, is widely used in coatings, surfactants, and rubber antioxidants. The K-REACH certification is projected to boost exports to South Korea by over 40%. As the world’s fifth-largest chemical market, South Korea’s growing demand for high-end chemicals in sectors like coatings, electronics, and automotive manufacturing creates a strategic entry point for Huajinda to supply leading local enterprises. This achievement positions the company to capitalize on emerging opportunities in Korea’s premium chemical supply chains.
